Standard opening screw-thread vials are manufactured from borosilicate glass and have a maximum fill volume of 1.8mL. Closures are black and have preattached septa. This is only for VWR International, Model 46610-702. It may differ from the image shown in color, features, may be an accessory, etc.

Flat Bottom,Conical Base and Conical insert with a top spring Several styles are offered including flat bottom, concial inserts with a top spring or a bottom spring, and concial without springs. Glass inserts are sold in two diameters for 2mL vials; one for standard opening (5mm) vials and another for large opening (6 mm).
Screw-top vials also come in different sizes, with vial caps made of either aluminum for crimp seals or plastic. Amber glass vials are available in 2-60 ml volume with a screw top. Inserts work in conjunction with any autosampler and fit either standard or wide openings vials.
All vials are manufactured from borosilicate glass, except for Glastic plastic vials, which have a fixed glass 150 µL insert. Glass MicroVial vials are for limited volume applications. Inserts are made of clear, borosilicate glass. These inserts are custom fitted for use with standard opening, 2 mL, 12 x 32 mm vials.
